What up guys and gals. I just made the change from Android to a new iPhoneS. I was using a Galaxy3. I used the Galaxy3 for about 10 months and decided it was time for a change. I was thinking about going with the Galaxy4: However, I decided to give Apple a try. I wanted to see what people were talking about. It took me a few days to learn basic stuff on the Android phone, but after, I really loved it. I never had issues with it either. I have had the iPhone for 3 days, and honestly, I am not that impressed. I was able to use the phone almost right away, but haven't really had the opportunity to play around much with it. However, I am now thinking about going back to Android and getting the Galaxy4. Verizon is only giving me 14 days to do the change.
Any apps suggestion?
Any sort of advice?
Any tips?
Thanks to all that took the time to read my post

Read the manual. It might open up some things for you. Apps are a personal thing depending on what you expect, and want your phone to do.
I have banking, music, some pay services, one that reads money, and the apps that came with the phone. I have a couple communication apps like Skype, because I have a friend and she likes to play with the video chat kind and she's Android, so I installed them.

What is a good app for identifying money?
How accessible is skipe?
Thanks very much in advanced

Skype is very accessible on IOS at the moment. Sometimes this will alter a little with new updates but the problems are usually resolved quickly. If you understand basic VoiceOver navigation, Skype's a breeze.

If your used to android's flexibility then it stands to reason that IOS will bug the crap out of you, no ability to change the launcher, no ability to change the default keyboard and etc. I have an Iphone but find myself running back to my LG G2 phone.

I can't remember the name of the app for sure, but it might be called money reader. Even if you don't type the correct name of it in the search box in the app store you should still get suggestions for it.

My advice is to give it more time. You yourself said that you haven't had much time to play with it, so how can you already say you're not impressed? That, and very few people learn any new operating system in three days. It took me quite awhile to get used to the iPhone, and for the first month or so, I hated the damn thing. I even wrote a post on here about it. But eventually, I've gotten to where I really like it. If you give it more time, and actually play with it more, and still want to go back to the Galaxy after that, that makes a bit more sense.

Meglet said it best about Skype. They break things sometimes, but it usually gets straightened out. The money reading app is in fact called Money Reader, and it's made by a company called Looktell.

What up guys. Thanks for sharing. To what SisterDawn said, you are right. I just got a little worried with the small time frame that companies give you before they lock you up in a 2 year contract. I got a chance to play with it more and starting to get the hang of it. Still have my Galaxy sitting around just in case.

Verizon will actually give you 30 days if you tell them it is a matter of accessibility.
I've been using TapTapSee for my money reader, but I'm going to try the other.
I really don't need things described, only money, so.

I'm definitely an IPhone man. TO be fair I probably had less trouble with it than I might have because I bought myself an IPod Touch six or seven months before getting the phone, and the IPod TOuch and IPhonehave the same OS, the onl diffeence being that the Touch lacks the telephone. But the very first time I tried an IPhone was back in 2009 and I felt just as lost as a lot of people. Oh I saw the potential but I still thought how the hell am I supposed to use tis? But once I got my IPod Touch and started really playing around with it I realized it would be an easy enough transition. As for apps I really don't use many. I use Facebook and Facebook Messenger, Foursquare (which has actualy gotte to be pretty addicting), HeyTell occasionally and then I have an app for the Credit Union I've been doing my banking with since January. THen most recently I've been experimenting with Tap Tap See, which utl recently was free but is now going paid. I'll grant that it's cool but it seems to me if you don't get the camera angle exactly right you'll miss information. I tried using it last night to get the directions off a box of cake mix I have in my pantry and didn't quite manage it. In fact I really only have two complaints. One is that in the last couple updates to IOS7 there's bee a bug where the lock screen repeats screen locked again a few seconds after you lock the phone. The other has to do with the Facebook app. For the last several versions I've stopped getting any and all alerts when new notifications come in and can't seem to correct that problem. I've written to support to see if I cann get help with that but so far no luck. I mean yeah I did want to stop receiving alerts whe game and app requests come in because I never use them, but I'd still like to receive alerts for friend requests and confirmations and status comments and things. Problem is when I try to change those settings they never save. But so far those are my only two complaints.

Got a chance to really play with it yesterday. I don't think I'm going back to Android for a minute. I had just not had the chance to figure things out because I had not had the time to mess around with it. Now I really got the hang of it. Much easier to navigate then the Galaxy. I downloaded the APP look tell yesterday and love it very much. I am glad I took the chance to see how Android works first because otherwise I don't think I would have tried it after using the iPhone. Not sure how much better the Galaxy4 is from the Galaxy3 when it comes down to accessibility, but as of now, I don't plan to find out.

the galaxy S4 has 4.3 now so its quite accessible and web views run much better in 4.3.

LookTell is a great money reader app. I have no problem with Skype on the iOS platform at all. In fact, it is getting better with each update, esspecially with the fact that now you can make and join group call.
Well, as far as what apps you needed, is depends on what you use in a daily bases. Give us some idea, or some example on apps that you would have install on your Androy, perhaps we can work something out from there.

I use Skype exclusively on my IPhone these days.

I paid the 10 bucks for the LookTel Money Reader and it is much better then the TapTapSee for this purpose. I wonder if you could just point it at the lady next to you as she's paying to determen how rich she is? JK
